Amy began acting at age 6 in South Africa and continued to study acting after immigrating to New Zealand at age 9.

Amy received her Bachelor of Arts in Film and Theatre from Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington in 2021.

In 2021 Amy co-founded Deliriously Driven Productions - a production company that produces podcasts, theatre shows and films.

Amy along with fellow co-founder, Abby Lyons, features on the podcast Are We Friends Yet?

In 2023 Amy completed the one-year acting conservatory at T. Schreiber Studio & Theatre in New York City.
